Matthew is a civil litigator focused on civil disputes and constitutional law matters. He started his career as a commercial litigation associate at an Am Law 50 law firm where he represented clients in commercial disputes and government investigations. He worked on cases involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, conversion, theft of trade secrets, and debt collection, among other issues. Matthew’s clients included insurance companies, healthcare providers, technology companies, and their agents and officers. His background also includes regulatory compliance and constitutional advocacy. During law school, he served as an SEC Scholar with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and he spent two semesters with the University of Texas Law and Religion Clinic where he contributed to briefs filed in federal district courts, state supreme courts, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Matthew also clerked for LiMandri & Jonna LLP as a summer law clerk following his first year of law school. Before attending law school, Matthew spent five years managing family-owned retail motor fuel stations.
